ACFAS 2022 COVID Policy and Protocols

Health and Safety Policies and Protocols for ACFAS 2022 *

We are committed to providing an environment that helps ensure the safety and well-being of all members, faculty, exhibitors, staff and guests attending the ACFAS 2022 Annual Scientific Conference.

All individuals are requested to comply with one of the ACFAS 2022 Health and Safety Policies and Protocols in order to enter our conference space:

  1. Prior to arriving in Austin, please upload your proof of vaccination. If you are unable to upload your vaccination record, you can bring your digital or print vaccine card with you.

OR

  1. In lieu of proof of vaccination, those requiring a vaccine exception can upload results of a negative PCR, rapid, or home-use self-administered over-the-counter test COVID-19 test taken within 48-hours of arriving at the conference.

ACFAS is working with ShareMy.Health, a secure HIPAA-compliant platform, to determine compliance with ACFAS 2022 Health and Safety Policies and Protocols. Links will be emailed to all attendees so that you may create an account and upload your information. The account will only ask for your name and your vaccination record or COVID-19 test results; no other personal information will be required. The feature on the app that allows for a COVID-19 test upload will not be visible until we are within the testing time period.

Once verified, you will receive a confirmation email. Just before the conference, you will receive an email highlighting your status which you will display when entering the conference space to pick up your name badge and registration materials.

The ACFAS 2022 Health and Safety Policies and Protocols are developed in line with CDC Guidelines and in compliance with all state, local, and facility ordinances and regulations at all conference venues. Currently, the City of Austin mandates that face masks are to be worn regardless of vaccination status in or on city property, and on property the city owns, manages or controls. This includes the Austin Convention Center.

Your privacy is very important to ACFAS and ShareMy.Health. You can read about ShareMy.Health’s privacy policy online. As a HIPAA-compliant platform, any information you upload to ShareMy.Health can only be shared with groups specifically given permission by you.
